Harambee Homecare: Compassionate Home Care & Community Support

Harambee Homecare embodies the spirit of Harambee—Swahili for “all pull together”—by providing critical assisted living services to Kenya’s elderly and terminally ill populations. Rooted in the tradition of communal solidarity, this outreach program of Harambee Youth Kenya addresses gaps in elder care through personalized support, healthcare access, and dignity preservation. By mobilizing caregivers, volunteers, local resources, and partnerships, Harambee Homecare ensures that vulnerable members of society receive the compassion and support they deserve. Our program builds from our history of being part of Community Care Coalition in Dagoretti, reaching out to the vulnerable in their homes.
